Sikaflex® CR 170 – Two-component joint sealant for the highest demands Sikaflex® CR 170 (formerly MSeal CR 170) is a non-sag, elastic two-component joint sealant on a polysulphide basis. Developed for demanding seals in LAU installations (storage, filling and handling of water-hazardous liquids), this product offers maximum chemical resistance and safety with general building-authority approval. It is applied to primed, dust-dry substrates. Matching Sika primers (e.g. Sika® Primer-157 for asphalt or Sika® Primer-215 for concrete) ensure optimal adhesion. The joint flanks must be cleaned thoroughly beforehand and masked with tape if necessary. The sealant is applied bubble-free and smoothed if required. Sikaflex® CR 171 – Pourable two-component polysulphide sealant for LAU installations Sikaflex® CR 171 is a pourable, elastic two-component polysulphide joint sealant for sealing horizontal floor joints. Developed specifically for use in LAU installations (storage, filling, handling of water-hazardous substances), the product meets the requirements of the general building-authority approval. Sikaflex® TS Plus – Joint sealing system for agricultural slurry (JGS) and biogas plants Sikaflex® TS Plus is an elastic special sealant with DIBt building-authority approval for sealing agricultural L and A installations as well as segmented steel tanks. By reacting with atmospheric moisture, Sikaflex® TS Plus cures to a permanently elastic sealant and is applied as a stable, easily spreadable paste.
