Self-adhesive protective tape for silicone joints
Areas of application:
- Self-adhesive protective tape as a complement to sealing tapes for use in silicone joint areas
- All joint areas that need cut-resistant protection: wall joints, floor joints, bathtub and shower edges
Properties:
- Self-adhesive protective tape made of firm-edged double fabric with a cut-inhibiting effect
- Protects the bonded waterproofing (e.g. OTTOFLEX® sealing tape) from unintentional cutting during renovation
- Fabric made of polyamide and high-molecular polyethylene with self-adhesive strips and release film
- Thin overall thickness for minimal build-up under the tile
- Flexible for easy application
- Ageing-resistant
Standards and tests:
- Cut resistance to EN 388 passed
- UV resistance to DIN EN ISO 4892-2 at least 200 hours
