OTTO Primer 1216 – The special primer for natural stone and metal

OTTO Primer 1216 is a solvent-based bonding agent combination for optimally improving the adhesion of sealants to natural stone, metal and some plastics. Versatile in use and with no flash-off time, it is ideal for applications on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces.

Product properties:

  • Solvent-based primer: Optimises adhesion on various substrates such as natural stone and metal.
  • Broad application spectrum: Improves the adhesion of sealants to stainless steel, anodised aluminium, copper, galvanised steel, chrome and coated metals such as enamel or rust-proofed iron.
  • Suitable for natural stone: Particularly recommended for OTTO natural stone silicones S 70, S 80, S 117, S 130 and S 140 – prevents edge-zone staining on marble and artificial stone.
  • Adhesion improvement on plastics: Ideal for materials such as PVC and solvent-based glazes.
  • No flash-off necessary: Ready for immediate use on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces.
  • Toluene-free: The primer is free of toluene, making it less harmful.
